Ajiri means "To employ" in swahili. Ajiri aims to create employment for women in Kenya. Ajiri employs 60 women to handcraft each and every label for the tea and coffee boxes using dried bark from banana trees. The award-winning tea is handpicked from small farms in Kenya. 100% of the profits from the sale of Ajiri products go back to Kenya to pay school fees for orphans.

Signature strong Kenyan Black Tea blended with just a hint of natural mango. This makes a refreshing iced tea! the tea is all handpicked in the fertile hills of western Kenya--bringing you a smooth and full-bodied cup. 

Each box is adorned with a unique piece of art handmade by women in western Kenya. Every label is made using dried bark from banana trees and handmade paper. Inside the box, a small twine or bracelet, is made using recycled magazines and dried bark from banana trees.
