Handmade in Oracle, AZ.
Created by hand in the Southwest, these plates are wheel-thrown from mid-fire golden tan adobe colored earthenware clay. The interior is finished with a satin white glaze. Each piece is unique and different in some way, as all pieces are handmade.
Dinnerware Plates measure approximately 10” in diameter.
Material Research pieces are food, oven, microwave, and dishwasher safe, though we recommend washing these pieces by hand. In addition, all exterior unglazed surfaces have been rubbed with a food-grade mineral oil in order to bring out the natural beauty of the clay and to provide protection for years to come. You may wish to apply an additional coat of mineral oil on occasion, just as you would with your cutting board.
