About the Artist
Richard Scarry is one of the world’s most cherished children’s book authors and illustrators. Born in Boston, he began his career illustrating Little Golden Books, including I Am A Bunny and Rooster Struts. He is best known for his Best Ever book series, set in the bustling, imaginative world of Busytown with beloved characters like Lowly Worm, Huckle Cat, and Bananas Gorilla. Today, his legacy continues through his son, illustrator Huck Scarry.
