Copal is a natural tree resin from the Buresa family, known as a medicinal tree to the Mayas in southern Mexico. It has traditionally been used to clear diseases from the body and repel mosquitos.
Copal has a light, sweet, and woody aroma, sometimes compared to frankincense but with a muskier undertone.
