In this revised edition of Clare Turlay Newberry’s Caldecott Honor-winning classic, the story is thoughtfully adapted with shorter text for a new generation of young readers. Oliver the cat enjoys a life of quiet comfort with Miss Tilly - filled with cozy naps, regular meals, and peaceful routines.

But everything changes when Miss Tilly brings home Marshmallow, a tiny white bunny with pink eyes and twitching whiskers. Suddenly, Oliver must adjust to a new and unexpected companion, discovering that life doesn’t always go as planned.

Perfect for springtime and Easter reading, this tender story celebrates the beauty of change, the warmth of companionship, and the many shapes a family can take.
