Project Roots

As we have mentioned before, we donate 1% of our sales each quarter to an Arizona local organization.

Today we are excited to introduce our chosen organization for Q2: Project Roots.

Project Roots was co-Founded by former Phoenix Mercury player, WNBA coach Bridget Pettis, and Arizona native Dionne Washington and together they have a passion for helping those in need.

Project Roots nourishes and educates communities in need by promoting a healthier, natural, and more sustainable way of urban living.

They are a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization based in Phoenix, AZ and focus on ways to educate the community about growing their own food through various educational programs. Project Roots supports the homeless by feeding them from their local community gardens and mobile kitchen service, supplying hygiene items, clothing and shelter.

They offer seasonal produce bag delivery services in certain parts of the Phoenix area and can be found at the Farmers Market at Spaces of Opportunity.

Aside from shopping with us, there are many other ways you can support Project Roots. You can head to their website to sign up to volunteer at one of their gardens, as well as the farmers market. You can also donate directly to them, purchase a garden box, a seasonal produce box, or visit them at the farmers market!
